Deeply saddened to hear this week about the tragic death of our good friends, Lee and Judy. I first met Judy while she finished her MBA at the Ross Business School in the mid-90s. After Judy and Lee moved to Redmond to both work at Microsoft, I had the privilege to work with Lee at MSR starting in 2005. I just spoke to him two weeks ago in Bldg 99 about his upcoming vacation in Peru. Lee was so excited.

This is such a shock. Lee and Judy were tremendous people….wonderful friends to so many who were lucky enough to know them, and great parents to their lovely girls. It is just so sad to think that they won’t be coming home to Esme and Lila. I’ll be giving my own family extra big hugs when I get home today. This is a sad reminder that tomorrow isn’t promised… we all need to remember to enjoy every minute with our loved ones as if it were the last. God bless Judy, Lee and their families.
Two of my most favorite people ever! Always happy and smiling and had to the best parents on the planet! So sad they are now gone. but their memory will live on in their daughters, family and friends forever. Rest in peace.
We didn’t know them well yet, but we are nearby neighbors, and their daughters were so lovely to my own child that I sought them out just to tell them what wonderful children they had. What superb parents they clearly were. They were obviously such a close-knit family blessed with love. We are heartbroken for their families and will do all we can as neighbors to support their children in our community. Rest in peace.
It breaks my heart to hear the news. My deepest sympathy for the family and Esme and Lila. Be strong and you are in my prayers and thoughts. Rest in Peace.
I once worked Judy a few years ago when we did the planning for the local market. She was always passionate, inspiring and caring. She also shared stories when she was a kid and helped her parents in the Chinese restrurant. She is so bright and intelligent. Her death shocked me that i can’t believe i won’t be able to see her anymore. I will remember her and her smile forever. God bless her and her family…
I knew Judy first casually at work but then we discovered our kids were in the same place at daycare. Emily and Esme become close. Hannah and Lila spent every day together from age 6 months to 3 years. With Maddox we call them the 3 amigos. Week-end play dates brought us all together for good food, laughter, and sharing our common parenting dilemmas. We’re crushed by this news and deeply saddened.

I didn`t know the family very well but I knew the kids working for Bright Horizons.I am so sad for them
and they are in my thoughts and prayers.
